The geographical zone stretches from the town of Gatteville-le-phare in the west to the lighthouse in the northeast. The whole of the point being situated on a rocky plateau, we cannot distinguish any or much evolution linked to sedimentary dynamics.

As for land occupancy, we note that the total number of plots has decreased and that their size has increased since the end of the 1960s. This is no doubt a consequence of land redistribution.
